Not only is Harvey the best pitcher today, but he looks to me like he will become the best pitcher of the last 15 years.
Not since Pedro Martinez or Randy Johnson in their prime has a pitcher been so dominant. And watch a split screen between Harvey and a young Roger Clemens. They are identical. And almost as critical as his 98 mile-an-hour rising fastball is his swagger. The Mets play better and hit better when he's on the mound. It's as if he wants to take his Mets' team on his back and bring them back to respectability.
I know its the top of the first inning of this young phenoms career, but this kid is special.
